Moved into holiday apartment to find that recent downpours have knocked out the fibre for the entire development. As it's Christmas eve I wasn't expecting service to be restored anytime soon.

Went to Macy's before closing time and was able to get a local SIM with generous data registered using my passport, that myself & the wife can hotspot our devices to. It's up and running nicely in our apartment now. The staff speak English and are very competent.

Google Maps says closed till Monday the 26th however I'm informed there will be early afternoon opening on Xmas day, could be handy for that tech 'emergency'.

Bought some AirPod pros. There was a hardware issue to do with the Adaptive Audio. Francis helped me out and sorted the update and we both learned something new about firmware updates too. Thank you for your help. Anyone visiting Tenerife for your tech needs these are the one to go to especially for Apple on the Island.
